Today’s theme, “Empowerment through Communication,” highlights the life-changing impact of finding your voice — in whatever form that takes.

At Learning Doing Living, our dedicated speech pathologists work alongside clients to discover the communication methods that best suit them — whether that’s spoken language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, gestures, or a combination. Our goal? To help

Did you know that at Learning Doing Living, our Speech Pathologist’s support participants throughout the lifespan? This can include;
- Helping young people build their play and interaction skills
- Supporting children to engage with the school curriculum in ways that suit their communication and learning
- Training support workers in post school options to understand and use participant’s augmentative and alternative communication systems
- Assessing mealtimes to ensure safety across environments
- Reviewing AAC systems to ensure they are still meeting the needs of older adults
