Let’s talk about flossing! 🦷

Flossing works hand in hand with brushing and is one of the few things that will actually clean in between your teeth.

Toothbrushing! 🪥🦷

Although everyone gets told to brush regularly, the ins and outs of brushing is not often discussed. But in fact, how you brush actually matters.

The goal of brushing is to remove the bacteria and food that gets stuck on your teeth and gums throughout the day. In some cases, brushing incorrectly can actually damage your teeth and gums!

Celebrate Dental Health Week 2023 with us from 7 - 13 August!

Dental Health Week this year will focus on the connection between the health of the mouth and the health of the whole body.

The health of the mouth affects the rest of the body and it is known that a range of medical conditions can be affected by, or can affect, our oral health.

Approximately half of the Australian population have at least one chronic illness but almost 70% of people are unaware of the link between their oral health and chronic medical conditions.

This week Lamb Street Medical & Dental will share tips to maintain good oral health as well as put the spotlight on some common medical conditions that have a connection with our oral health.

Dr Melissa graduated from the University of Melbourne and obtained a Bachelor of Biomedicine before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Having worked in a wide range of clinics across Victoria before settling at our practice in Cranbourne, Dr Melissa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to ensure every appointment is as comfortable as possible.

Dr Melissa is passionate about dental health and well being and is a firm believer that prevention is better than cure.
