🎉 Congratulations to Victoria's newest Certified Infant Massage Instructors! 🎉

Our final face to face course for 2025 has wrapped up in Melbourne, facilitated by IMIS Trainer and Paediatric Massage Consultant Paula Hill. Across three full days, this wonderful group brought warmth, curiosity and commitment to their learning, finishing with a practice teaching session supported by a visiting family, including baby Quinn.

We're delighted to congratulate:

Elena: Thoughtful, steady and confident in both her assessments and her teaching practice.

Elvira: A midwife supporting vulnerable parents and babies, offering valuable insight that strengthened the group's learning and teaching with calm confidence.

👶 Congratulations to our newest Certified Infant Massage Instructors!

Our Brisbane face-to-face training wrapped up yesterday, and what a truly wonderful few days it was. This lovely group of women brought warmth, enthusiasm and genuine care to every session. Each gave their best, learning, practising and refining their skills to ensure the families they support will feel confident and connected through nurturing touch.

The group shared inspiring plans for how they will use their new qualification, from providing programs in early childhood settings and community centres, to supporting parents after traumatic birth experiences or post-natal depression, to running sessions for dads, foster carers and vulnerable families.

A few are continuing on to become Paediatric Massage Consultants, expanding their scope to educate and connect with other professionals who work with parents, infants and children. Through professional development sessions, they will help broaden awareness of how massage can support families, share relevant research, and ensure professionals know when and how to refer families to a qualified instructor or consultant.

Across the whole cohort, the pathways are wonderfully diverse. Some joined us after a friend or colleague's recommendation, others were encouraged and supported by their workplaces, and several have already begun recommending the course themselves, which means so much to us.

We were very humbled reading your kind words of feedback about the course and your trainer. Thank you for taking the time to share them.

A special thank-you to Paula, who led the training with her usual excellence, bringing her extensive knowledge, calm guidance and supportive teaching style to every moment.

If you are a parent in Brisbane, the Gold Coast or Sunshine coast, keep an eye out for upcoming classes and home visit sessions from these newly certified instructors. They will be wonderful allies for you and your baby.
