Yard Hand / General Assistant (Part-Time)
Onroad Offroad Training – Devonport Depot
Onroad Offroad Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) seeking a reliable and practical Yard Hand to join our team on a part-time basis at our Devonport depot.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in their day, and interacting with people, would suit semi-retired mechanic/handyman.
Key Responsibilities:
General handyman and yard duties
Cleaning and maintaining vehicles, machinery, and equipment
Cleaning offices and common areas
Providing friendly assistance to clients and handling walk-in enquiries
About You:
Practical, reliable, and willing to help where needed
Comfortable performing physical and hands-on tasks
Well-presented with good communication skills
Friendly and professional when dealing with clients
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Mechanical knowledge is a bonus but not essential
