We are proud to have sponsored the Marian 100 again this year. This amazing event sees the students from run in relay format from the top of Mt Hotham back to school to raise money for .

Kristy was there to provide physio support, and also joined her 2 daughters on the trail for one of the relay legs. Well done to all the students, staff & support staff. An amazing effort! 👏👏

Last night Kristy and Phebe attended the Health Practioners Specialist Night hosted by in Albury. It was a great evening of collaboration, learning and discussion around orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine and physiotherapy practice, as well as a great chance to catch up with our fantastic local network of physios. Thanks Chris and the team at Enhance for hosting 👏🏼

Today we had professional mountain biker Rebecca Henderson back in the clinic refreshing her Pilates program with Phebe. Bec has incorporated Pilates in to her training plan since 2017 after working with Phebe to address her back pain at the time. Bec loves her Pilates reformer and her visits to Bright! We look forward to watching her continue her racing journey, working towards the next Olympic Games in LA 2028 👊🏼

Allied Health Professionals Day was celebrated on October 14th, and this year there was a theme celebrating teamwork & multidisciplinary care. We are a proud part of the allied health team at Alpine Health!

Congrats to the crew for another great event this morning. El smashed the half marathon and Phebe ran the 10.5km 👊🏼👊🏼

This weekend, Phebe attended the Winter Sport Performance Support Annual Conference run by the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia at Mt Buller. Phebe feels very honoured to continue to be a part of the network and get to experience these wonderful learning opportunities (which this year included an on snow skills session with some fresh snow! ☃️☃️)

We would like to welcome a new massage therapist to our team, Andres Jimenez! Originally from Colombia, Andres has lived in AUS for the last 11 years. He moved to Bright 18 months ago with his young family to enjoy the snow and everything else our region has to offer.

He has always been passionate about sports and physical activity, especially basketball, and discovered an interest in rehabilitation through experiencing his own injuries which lead him to start studying massage.

He will be offering relaxation massages while he completes his further training in remedial massage and will be available in both Bright and Myrtleford (starting September 22nd). Book online at www.ovensvalleyphysio.com.au 🙌🏼

Massive shout out to our physio El, who ran in the Sydney marathon on the weekend. She smashed out a big PB and finished the course in 3 hours & 29 minutes……. Amazing!! 👏👏

Last week Rach was busy learning all about power wheelchairs and pressure management! She attended a training day run by and and came away with lots of new knowledge to help her work as a paediatric physio 🤓👏🏼
