My name is Linda Matlab and I am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist since 2008 and a registered member of The Australian Traditional Medicine Society. I was taught at the School of Integrated Body Therapy in Charmhaven. I have a Certificate IV in Massage and a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Every year I have to do some extra training to keep Registered with my Association and to keep eligible for Health Funds. I do not fix a problem but I facilitate the body to heal itself via soft tissue manipulation which is called massage. Massage is beneficial for the body when prior sports, exercise, to relax, for office workers, to restore balance to the body. I am registered with most Health Funds so you can obtain a rebate through your Health Insurance. 'Only for Remedial massage'. May 2020 by Aspen Medical through Australian Government Department and Health. WHAT TO EXPECT -

Massage Therapist will be wearing face mask and gloves due to Covid19 restrictions and precautions. You will get fresh clean linen per client. You will be draped (covered) with a sheet or towel for modesty and comfort. Ask you what problem areas you need working on and I will leave the room to wash my hands, client will need privacy to prepare to lie on the table covered by the sheet/towel prior to start of massage. I the Therapist will talk to a minimum whilst you are on the table because you are able to relax your mind and then your muscles will be able to relax so you can get the most benefits from your massage treatment. Plus its nice to chill out and relax, and if you prefer to chat that is up to you. Massage tailored to your needs, so if you don't want a firm massage please tell me, communicate with your Therapist if you are not happy with something, e.g. temperature in room, music etc...

Come 15mins prior appointment if it is your first time at clinic as I will need to take Your Past Case History/Medical History which is very general, eg: if you bruise easily, allergies to creams, has past surgery, any injuries of past or current. This is necessary so I can get a general idea if massage is suitable for you and if I need to avoid an area or take precaution during treatment. If you have a hip replacement I need to know it as I will need to take precaution when working in that area. I have an active Exemption Certificate to advertise Targeting Women only please see 'Photos' section.

My name is Linda Matlab and I am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist since 2017 and a registered member of The Australian Traditional Medicine Society which is my massage association. I was taught at the School of Integrated Body Therapy in Charmhaven, in the Central Coast from 2016-2017.

Current Qualifications in Diploma of Remedial Massage. Each financial year I have to do some extra training to keep updated with my skills and to remain registered with the Massage Association and Health Funds. I facilitate the body to heal itself via soft tissue manipulation which is called massage. Massage is a science and an art. Massage is great to ease, reduce tired and achy muscles from before and after exercising, sitting long periods at a computer desk due to work or study, muscular and joint conditions such as MS, Rheumatoid/Osteoarthritis Arthritis, stress related conditions such as depression and even poor posture. I will do a treatment plan and advise some strengthening and/or stretching exercises and will refer you on to other Health Professionals if necessary for example:- to a Physiotherapist or Osteopath , etc if I am not seeing results or is in your best interests.

I am registered with most Health Funds so you can obtain a rebate through your Health Fund. Please Note: ******Health Rebates are only for Remedial massages******. I also offer Detox Foot Spa treatments for helping the body to detox as our busy lifestyles increase toxins in our bodys through stress, diets, environment. Please call for further info. WHAT TO EXPECT I have current Infection Control COVID-19 certificate on my wall that I have completed a week ago. If any SIGNS OF flu or cold symptoms please DO NOT attend your appointment and reschedule please. OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVERSEAS OR HAD COVID-19 OR BEEN TESTED FOR IT please advise me.

I will be wearing a Mask and wearing non latex gloves, all touch points are disinfected between clients, clean linen refreshed per client.
