Wobbly posture, meltdowns, messy handwriting — could it be a primitive reflex at play?
So many of the things we label as ‘difficult’ in kids — fidgeting, falling behind, emotional outbursts, poor coordination — are often not a child misbehaving. They’re signs of a nervous system still trying to organise itself.
Primitive reflexes that haven’t integrated can quietly shape a child’s posture, learning style, and ability to stay calm and focused.
At our Primitive Reflexes Workshop on 20th August, we’ll connect the dots between early movement patterns, brain development, and emotional regulation — and explore gentle, natural ways to support integration and healing.
💬 What attendees are saying:
“All-round great information! I heard some new things and built on current knowledge. I’ll use this in both my professional work and personal life.” – Sandra, Primary School Teacher
“The information on right and left brain imbalances was incredibly interesting and useful. I also really enjoyed the practical testing on the night.” – Kelly, Paediatric OT
This isn’t about fixing or forcing. It’s about understanding your child’s nervous system with compassion — and feeling empowered to support it.
