Here I present two ways to build not only strength but mobility and stability.

On the fitball, this Pilates (beginner friendly) workout, brings my favorite Mat Pilates exercises to the ball.

Not only does the fitball support, it also improves proprioception (awareness of where your body is in space)

My Dads a great example showing how keeping active not only supports his daily activities, it stimulates the brain to support his demented.

As a trainer and therapist, my passion is to coach and educate how we can support ourselves to live a healthier more productive life by adding a few simple steps such as:

Thrilled to have led the second 3-hour Professional Development workshop for the amazing Reformer Pilates team at

Building on the foundations from Workshop 1, we dove deeper into *progressive programming* to craft life-changing experiences for their members. We dissected each block of exercises to meet the diverse needs of various members, focusing on creating *seamless, empowering programs*.

The goal?

To equip instructors with the skills to become *infectious teachers* who inspire and motivate.

By mastering progressive programming, they can deliver transformative classes that leave members feeling empowered and wanting more! 💪

Grateful for the opportunity to share my passion and contribute to the growth of such a dedicated team. Here’s to elevating Pilates experiences and empowering members on their journeys! 🌈
I look forward to workshop 3 later this quarter.

Why should we be incorporating & ?
One we understand that movement isn’t just one joint; it’s a full-body collaboration where multiple joints work together, creating stretch and elastic recoil as energy is recycled from one spiral to the next.
By incorporating movement through multiple planes we can improve how the body transfers load, supporting daily activities.
Additionally by developing a strong core we can decrease dysfunction and pain whilst improving strength, endurance and performance.

- [ ] Are the feet really connected to the pelvic floor?
- [ ]
- [ ] Muscle Co-activation:
- [ ] .
📍The small, intricate muscles in the feet are designed for balance and stability and work together with the deep core and pelvic floor muscles.
- [ ] 📍When the foot muscles are strong and active, they help activate the pelvic floor, creating a reflexive and coordinated response. 
- [ ] 📍Some of our hip muscles have a direct link into our pelvic floor, and increased stress and strain can lead to overactivity, excessive gripping and/or tightness of our pelvic floor.

📍In summary:

There is a direct connection of fascial tissue from our foot to our pelvic floor and deep core muscles. We can use this connection to unwind and unload a tight pelvic floor, or alternatively we can use the foot to enhance pelvic floor activation and strength for bladder management.

▪️Here I show a variety of exercises on the reformer I use to release, strengthening and mobilize the feet 👣
