Thank you to all members for your co-operation as our Evacuation Policy and Procedures were reviewed.
There will, in the future, be at least one evacuation drill each term. Specific procedures for each room will
be posted on noticeboards and Tutors/Leaders will be asked to review these with course members. Thank
you to members, Patrick Dempsey and Juri Linins for their support throughout this process.
Unfortunately we have no control over air conditioner setting. In most rooms the air conditioner comes
on automatically when the room is occupied. It may take time for the effects to be felt. Opening windows
and the evacuation door near the carpark does effect the efficiency of the air conditioning, Hopefully
some of the issues will be dealt with following Michelle Kinnersly’s work with Council in relation to fans.

Bribie U3A Members. Plan now.
You are able to book a table for 8,
for any size group up to 8 or just
for you.
Whichever way the booking is
made, payment must be made at
the same time. Unfortunately no
spaces can be reserved without
payment.
Tickets will go on sale at Reception from Monday 3 November. Don’t miss out.

ENROLMENT
2026 Fees: As with most aspects of life, costs are rising and it was the decision of the Management
Committee that from 2026 we would need to increase our fees.
Annual Membership will become $15 per year

A 6 weeks or longer course will be $20 for the term
-$15 for shorter courses.

These fee changes will come into effect during the Term 1 2026 enrolment period
from November 24 to December 4.
Prior to this you will receive an invoice which
will include your membership renewal and any fees for courses you wish to
continue in for term 1, 2026. You will be able to pay on-line or at the workroom
from Monday 24 November.

Dear Members

Those of you who have been with us from our Incorporation in 2012 will know that in that time our Annual Membership fee has remained at $10 per year. In that time the Organisation has absorbed the ever increasing costs of Electricity, Insurance Fees, Property maintenance, Catering Supplies and Rent for outside Venues etc. With our move to new premises in 2026 and the costs that will be incurred in outfitting the new Centre, your Committee of Management believe that there is a need to increase our Annual Membership fee from $10 to $15 per Annum in 2026. This will ensure the financial viability of our Organisation into the future and enable us to continue to expand, offering further activities to our Community. Therefore from 1st January 2026 the Annual Membership Fee for Caboolture U3A Inc. will be $15.00 per annum. We hope that this will not adversely affect any of our current or prospective members. Renewal of Membership Fees will be accepted for next year from the beginning of Term 4 in October 2025.

Dear members

This is the final reminder for payment to re-enrol in your current course/s for Term 4 2025.

Payment will need to be made by 2.00pm on Friday, 12 September either online or in person in the workroom at U3A Bribie between 8.30am-2.00pm.

Please be aware that your name in courses with an outstanding payment at 2.00pm on Friday, 12 September will be removed from the class list/s to make places available for members on waitlists or members wishing to take up the vacant places.

Bribie u3a enrolments for term 4

This is to remind you all of the process and payment deadlines for term 4 classes

* By Wed 3rd Sept (PM): Students will have received an enrolment advice for each Term 4 class via email.
* If they do not wish to continue in the class for Term 4, they should respond to this email before Fri 5th (or ASAP)
* Students can check all their enrolled classes and request withdrawal from a class via the Member Portal.-My Classes.
* By Fri 5th Sept: The Term 4 Class Schedule will be available on our website. The Class list will also be available via Member Portal-Classes.
* By Sat 6th Sept:
* Outstanding invoices will be emailed.
* The email includes a click-to-pay option or payments can be made online via the Member Portal.
* Please do encourage your students to pay online if they can as it helps reduce in-person queues and our volunteers workload
* From Monday 8th of Sept8.30am
* In-person payments and class enrolments available in the work room.
* From Monday 8 Sept 11.00am - Most Term 4 classes open for online enrolment(or to join wait lists)
* Members are encouraged to use the Member Portal-Classes tab to enrol in classes online.
* Fri 12th Sept, 2pm: Payment deadline
