To live and thrive with ADHD, self education is crucial. There is much content - but not all of it is from good or 'evidence- based' sources. And many with ADHD find it hard understand or who to follow. Also material from well-regarded sources. It's a hub for practical, easy-to-understand ADHD information such as: ARTICLES, VIDEOS, SELF-HELP RESOURCES, MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES and NEWS and HUMOR from Australia & o/seas. ABOUT Us
We're a not-for-profit, volunteer run organisation established in 1995 to address the needs of adults with ADHD and related conditions, and their families. We're a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status. As far as we know we're the only organisation specifically supporting adults with ADHD in Australia. Our members include health care professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, educators and researchers, people impacted by ADHD and their loved ones or partners. We're committed to reducing the STIGMA associated with ADHD and dispelling the MYTHS and MISINFORMATION that have been prominent in the media and community for many years. We're on the look out for opportunities to provide education about and awareness of adult ADHD in the media, government and health sectors based on research and clinical best practice.

Welcome. ADDults with ADHD is dedicated to improving the lives of Australian adults dealing with ADHD - in themselves, their family, friends or clients. We are a volunteer run, not-for-profit charity.

PAGE PURPOSE

To provide you (whether you’ve been DIAGNOSED or NOT) with a first-rate mix of practical ADHD Information/ADHD Life Management Tips/News/Event info and ADHD ‘In the know’ Comment, Research/LIFE HACKS .. as well as inspiring Aussie ADHD real-life stories AND great Humor!

WHY USE THIS PAGE ?

In order to live and thrive with ADHD educating yourself is crucial. There is lots of information available BUT not all of it is trustworthy or from evidence-based sources. It’s hard to know what to follow

We offer EASY TO UNDERSTAND and USE information PLUS ADHD Articles/Videos, Hacks and Self-help Strategies from most trusted sources

ADHD CENTRE HELPLINE. We also provide Australia’s only dedicated ADHD Phone Helpline service. It offers free, confidential, evidence-based self-help resources including information sheets and an ADHD Referral List for those seeking an ADHD psychiatrist, psychologist, counselor, coach, support group, occ therapist, pediatrician etc

EVENTS. For 21 + years we’ve run quarterly community ‘ADHD AWARENESS AFTERNOONS’ on practical topics led by great speakers and the chance to meet others over food and drinks (tea/coffee). We proudly stage the ‘ADHD ANNUAL CONFERENCE’. It brings together the latest ADHD thinking from clinicians/researchers with our members, people seeking more information, people living with ADHD and those caring for loved ones with ADHD.

FUNDING. PLEASE HELP US in any way that you can. To survive, we rely on donations (any size) plus fundraisers & a rare grant (we currently do not have one). We also need good people to VOLUNTEER some of your time and specialist skill/s so we can complete crucial projects/jobs and improve our services.
