FROM THE BLOG: From University to Private Practice – My Experience So Far
Transitioning from university into private practice has been an incredible experience.
One of the things I’ve loved most about private practice is the sheer variety of patients I’ve had the chance to see. Each day brings new faces, stories, and challenges, and that diversity has been invaluable in building my confidence and clinical skills. Each time I leave the clinic I feel like I’ve grown as a practitioner.
Did you know we are open 8am until 8pm on Wednesdays?

We want to say a big thank you to Liesbeth Peeters from for coming to share her wisdom about the pelvis, pelvic floor, women’s and men’s health.
Liesbeth is passionate about educating and teaching us to have a strong pelvic floor.
So far our team have spent at least 24 hours learning together. We pride ourselves on continuing professional development for best patient outcomes.
We are thinking about a team pelvic floor challenge starting January 1st. Give us your support in the comments.
I am a final-year osteopathy student at RMIT, currently completing my final clinical placement. Originally from Albury, NSW, I grew up playing a wide range of sports, with soccer being my greatest passion. My experiences as an athlete often took me to various health professionals, where I discovered osteopathy. I was drawn not only to the way practitioners helped me recover from injuries but also to their friendly and supportive approach, which is something I now strive to bring anywhere I go.
I enjoy treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions whether they’re acute or chronic and have a soft spot for sports related injuries and rehabilitation. My approach to treatment includes not only direct and indirect osteopathic techniques but getting to know each patient individually and work alongside them, which I believe is key to achieve the best outcomes.
Outside of my studies if I am not playing soccer or spending time with friends, I’ll be visiting my family in Albury where I have fully embraced the role as the fun uncle.
We love to support learning. If you would like the chance to receive a treatment with Isaac, student consults available Wednesday mornings, please book in online, call or email or chat to our friendly team.
