After a long and well deserved break, our kapa are back into campaign mode for the upcoming Te Whenua Moemoeā Kapa Haka Regionals in Te Tai Kōura (Gold Coast), on Bundjalung country in March 2026! 🙌🏽

Today, our young leaders stepped up to help run a joint ventre Matariki Program with Rockingham Youth Centre, sharing their skills and passion with their peers

When our time is up, we would be lucky to have these kids take over and lead the future of Mau Rākau here in Te Urupu

Mau Rākau is for !!anyone!! who is willing to jump in, but to jump in and continue with it - that takes courage, dedication, heart, and a whole lot of being put in hard situations.
