One of the biggest differences I notice as a lymphatic drainage therapist is thisđ
People often assume inflammation is the problem.
But more often, itâs the bodyâs inability to resolve it efficiently.
Inflammation itself isnât the issue.
Itâs a necessary biological response.
The issue comes when the body struggles to move through and out of that state.
This is where the lymphatic system becomes relevant, but not in the way most people think.
Itâs not just a âdetox pathway.â
Itâs part of the bodyâs internal regulation system that helps shift tissues from stress response back into balance.
When that process is under strain, the body can start to feel like itâs constantly âholding ontoâ something. Not always visibly.
Sometimes just in how you feel day to day.
What I see clinically is not always more inflammation, but slower resolution.
And that changes everything about how we approach support.
Instead of only asking âwhat caused this?â
The better question becomes: why isnât it clearing as it should?
