⛳Across the past 3 months a range of golf facilities across South Australia were engaged by Golf Australia with PGA Professionals delivering over 20 Come & Try sessions to encourage golf participation amongst multicultural communities in national programs.

🤩All up just over 200 participants took part in the various sessions held across the state. A fantastic result!

😀Attending 'MyGolf' sessions were ‘Little Rippers’ with at least one parent born overseas and attending 'Get Into Golf' sessions were adults themselves born overseas.

👍This initiative was facilitated by a grant from the Australian Sports Commission to boost sport and physical activity participation across Australia particularly for those facing barriers. Part of a broader strategy to create welcoming and inclusive sporting environments for all Australians, with a focus on lifelong involvement in sport.

👏A huge thank you to all the facilities who hosted sessions and the nine PGA Professionals who passed on their expertise providing a taste of our sport to new participants.

Hamish Farquharson and Raegan Denton have claimed the Victorian Men’s and Women’s Amateur Championships after four rounds of match play over two days at Commonwealth Golf Club.

⛳️ 2025/26 SA TeeMates

🏌Event 2 of the TeeMates 36 Hole Series concluded today with the second round being contested at The Vines Golf Club of Reynella.

👀Alice Cho (Royal Adelaide) secured her victory in the girls with an even par 72 today, with the final margin being 18 shots to second place Elyse Kozlovic (The Grange).

Malachy Marshall (Kooyonga) went 5 under on day 2 to finish with a 2 round total of 140 (-3), 6 shots clear of Billy White (Royal Adelaide).

In the mixed stableford, Taya Comas (Flagstaff Hilll) was victorious with 81 points across the 2 days, with Henre S*k (Port Augusta) finishing in 2nd place with 77 points.

⛳️ 2025/26 SA TeeMates 36 hole

🏌The second summer of junior golf event teed off this morning at Blackwood Golf Club.

Alice Cho (Royal Adelaide) leads the girls field by 8 shots shooting even par 74, whilst there is a 3 way tie for the lead in the boys, with Malachy Marshall (Kooyonga), Billy White & Lewis Antell (Royal Adelaide) all scoring opening rounds of +2.

In Stableford, Taya Comas (Flagstaff Hill) leads with 41 points, clear of Ronnie Rodrigues (The Grange) in second place.

⛳️ 2025/26 SA TeeMates 36 hole Series 1

🏌Event 1 of the TeeMates 36 Hole Series concluded today with the second round being contested at The Grange Golf Club in near perfect conditions.

👀Alice Cho (Royal Adelaide) won a close one by taking out the girls division with a 2 round total of 152 (+6), Lewis Antell also from Royal Adelaide wining the boys division with a 2 round total of 140 (-3) and Josh Little (Willunga) finishing first in the mixed stableford with a total of 95 points.

💥The new SA Senior Order of Merit season commenced yesterday at the South Lakes Golf Club .

In the Senior Men's, Paul Gregory (The Vines Golf Club of Reynella) was victorious by 2 shots from Nicholas Wake (Glenelg Golf Club) and Phil Chapman (Aston Hills Golf Club at Mount Barker) .

In the Women's competition, Gale Macpherson (Blackwood Golf Club) finished on top, 5 shots clear of Christine Trimmer (The Vines Golf Club of Reynella).
