A quick update from Responder Aid.

Over the past few months we’ve been reshaping the business and focusing more on supplying equipment to the organisations that train and equip first responders.

That means working more closely with:

• First aid training businesses
• Safety equipment suppliers
• Security companies
• Emergency service volunteers and frontline responders

We’re especially excited to be expanding distribution of the Slishman Pressure Wrap, an innovative bleeding control bandage that Responder Aid now distributes in Australia.

We’re also continuing to produce our own practical gear such as the Responder Pack and glove pouches.

To support this shift, we’ve refreshed the Responder Aid website and streamlined the product range.

You might also notice a few clearance specials on the site as we move some older stock - so it’s worth taking a look.

Today, Responder Aid stands with communities across Australia in remembrance and solidarity.

We honour the 15 innocent lives lost in the devastating antisemitic attack at Bondi, and we acknowledge the deep and lasting impact this tragedy has had on families, friends, the Jewish community, and all those affected.

We also recognise the emergency responders, healthcare workers, and support personnel who stepped forward in an unimaginably difficult moment and who will continue to carry the emotional weight for a long time to come.

This year’s theme, “Light will win – a gathering of unity and remembrance,” reminds us that care, compassion, and connection matter most in times of grief.

At 7:01pm this evening, we encourage our community to pause for a minute of silence and, if you are able, to light a candle as a symbol of remembrance and solidarity.

Today, we remember and we stand together.

And we reaffirm our commitment to support the first responder community who carry the burden of responding when tragedy strikes.

Terrorism has struck at the heart of Australia’s Jewish community on iconic Bondi Beach. And we have no words.

Our founder knew members of the Jewish community who live in Bondi and from his time as NSW Ambulance Senior Chaplain, worked alongside many Paramedics, Hatzolah volunteers and first responders from the footage we have seen.

Praying for peace and for light to shine into the darkness that has enveloped our nation.
