Can’t believe it’s been one year! 💍

A huge year of growth, change and discovery — feeling very lucky to be tackling life with my best friend by my side.

Here’s to many more years working on too many projects, cooking together, going to gigs, travelling and adopting neurotic border collies.

Most of us don’t struggle to keep a consistent exercise routine because we don’t care enough.

More often than not, it’s because we’re relying on motivation, expecting perfection, and don’t have anything to fall back on when life inevitably gets hard.

These five principles are the ones I come back to again and again — both personally, and with the people I work with.

1️⃣ Rely on systems, not motivation
2️⃣ Make back-up plans
3️⃣ Set minimum standards
4️⃣ Lower the barrier to entry
5️⃣ Focus on the process, not the outcome

Consistency isn’t built through perfection.

It’s built through planning, flexibility, and self-compassion.

And importantly — learning how to keep going, even when things aren’t ideal.

I’m so excited to share my new clinic space with you 💛

Although it’s small, it’s a calm and welcoming place to move, rehab, and be guided towards your goals.

This space was created with care — especially for people who:
• feel overwhelmed in loud or crowded environments
• are navigating injury, health challenges, or burnout
• want support that’s calm, personalised, and flexible

If my country playlist isn’t your thing, you’re more than welcome to choose your own tunes 🎶

And if you’d like a cuddle from a friendly, furry border collie, Rocky will gladly pop in to visit 🐾

Whether we’re working on rehab, performance, or simply feeling better in your body, my goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and empowered every time you walk through the door.

I’m really proud of this space and so excited to welcome you into it.

There are so many amazing things we can do for our health, but exercise has to be one of the highest-impact habits out there.

Yes, it improves the physical things - strength, fitness, cardiovascular health. But often the power of exercise goes beyond the physical.

It builds resilience, boosts mental wellbeing, creates connection and community, and act as a catalyst habit for better sleep, nutrition and mindset.

This is why I care so much about helping people find exercise that feels supportive, sustainable and empowering.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to be extreme.
And it doesn’t have to just be about aesthetics to matter.

Small, consistent efforts with movement can change far more than you think 🤍

You don’t need to be smashing goals or showing up “perfectly” to be proud of yourself.

Small wins still count— especially when life feels heavy.

✔️ Just making it to the gym during a tough week? That’s a win.
✔️ Completing your rehab with a little less pain? That’s a win.
✔️ Adding a plate to the stack — even if it’s not what you lifted before? That’s still a win.

These moments might feel small, but they’re powerful.
The small wins add up quietly and build momentum.

You don’t need big leaps to be proud. These small, consistent steps? That’s where the magic happens 💛

Just because I’m an EP and spend a lot of time promoting healthful habits doesn’t mean I’ve got it all figured out.

With this app being a bit of highlight reel you’ll probably see the running, the lifting, home-grown veggies. But you won’t always see
👉 the exercise addiction and difficulty resting
👉 me spending time on screens before bed
👉 difficulties prioritising activities I know are important for mental health
👉 high levels of self-criticism

💬 These are things I still have to work at, despite knowing this about myself and having fallen into patterns of burnout time and time again.

So if you’re feeling off-track or like you’re the only one who struggles to “do the healthy thing”... please know you’re not alone. We all have our battles, they just look a bit different person to person.

We’re all figuring it out — together 💛

Aiming for perfection with your rehab and/or performance goals is (in my opinion) a recipe for disappointment.

That rush of excitement and hope at the start of a journey can make us feel like we want to tick every box perfectly ✔️

But then life happens. Your energy fluctuates. Something happens at work or with a loved one. You get a flare up in pain.

This is me telling you that showing up as you can on that day, being as consistent as you can be for that point in your life, is OK.

Consistency with rehab and performance is about adapting, not abandoning the process.

👉 A 3km run instead of your planned 5?
👉 Only 2 sets of your rehab program instead of 3?
👉 Taking a rest day when you’re completely, utterly overwhelmed and stressed?

These are all still moving the needle forwards - supporting your health & wellbeing.

I would argue that your long-term progress will be better if you allow yourself some grace along the journey 💛
