Let’s speak the truth that so many of us were taught to bury and one that I witness so often in the community:
Wanting to live in abundance doesn’t make you greedy.
Struggling doesn’t make you more spiritual.
And being broke is not a badge of mystical honor.
Somewhere along the way, many of us were fed a spell:
That to be of service means to suffer.
That to walk a sacred path means to walk it with nothing but faith and exhaustion.
That charging for your gifts, your energy, your medicine… somehow contaminates it.
But the Earth tells a different story.
The forest is generous but never depleted.
The bees pollinate and feast.
The rivers give life as they move without ever asking permission to flow.
Abundance is not ego. It is ecological. It is ancestral. It is sacred.
And when we deny it, we are not being humble, we are being cut off from the current of life itself.
