I am currently working on organic farms in southern England and have been staying at a lovely Winery and Press in Somerset. A massive perk of working here is being able to enjoy this beautiful sauna! The view of the lake is breathtaking, though not long after this shot, the swans pictured soon surrounded said sauna and began nesting and hissing at any who dared move by them. They had decided I was to stay in the sauna and transform into a prune 😂

As a professional Chinese Medicine practitioner (with an Applied Science and Health Science degree), I’m committed to providing high-quality, professional Chinese medicine services.
I’m dedicated to helping my patients take control of their health through a variety of treatment methods that include traditional acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, cupping and Tuina, Chinese herbal medicine, acupressure, and dietary and lifestyle advice.
Because Chinese Medicine considers every person’s health status individually, treatments will be based on your own personal situation and the conditions you present with at your consultation.
As I have personal experience with acne, I know how hard it is to find a solution. That is why I offer natural acne treatments in the form of herbal medicine and acupuncture. Both these treatments aim to support physiological function within your body, to reduce inflammation associated with hormonal acne and promote skin regeneration. I also recommend dietary and lifestyle changes that encourage healthy skin and help you glow.
I love to treat pain because it has such a huge impact on your health and wellbeing, mentally and physically. Neck, shoulder, back and knee pain are experienced by most people on a daily basis. Often this pain can be linked to recurring postural issues, previous injury and stress. I use acupuncture to directly target the location of your pain and work with you so you can get back to doing what you love, uninhibited by pain.
MY EXPERIENCE
When I was at high school, I suffered from poor digestion, which was caused by stress. However, I found that seeing a Chinese Medicine practitioner really helped me overcome this issue. My practitioner gave me the time to discuss my health concerns and taught me how my emotions impacted how my body functioned. I was inspired to learn how I could share this knowledge with other people, and show them how they could improve their own health and wellbeing.
My interest in cosmetic acupuncture expanded when I developed adult-onset acne, and I decided to focus on natural medicine treatments to reduce the lesions. Through lifestyle changes, cosmetic acupuncture and Chinese herbs, I experienced a significant reduction in my acne and I continue to use these techniques to keep my skin clear.
I was also fortunate to work for four months in China following doctors at the renowned Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing. Due to its reputation, people would travel five hours to come to this hospital. While I was there, I was immersed in many different hospital departments including:
Dermatology (skin health)
Rheumatology (arthritis and any joint/muscle issues)
Gastroenterology (digestive and gut disorders)
Paediatrics (illness in children)
Oncology (oncology medication side effects, such as nausea and vomiting, and fatigue associated with cancer drugs).
I was completely blown away how integrated western and Chinese Medicine was within China. This completely fit with my ideology of western and Chinese Medicine having important roles in treating a person.
Now I’m delighted to be able to help people live a happy, healthy and positive life.
