The WED Edit 🖤🤍 Your girl has been offline for the past few weeks and has been stepping into a whole new chapter — marrying my love of the past 11 years. Thank you to the support from the Flow State family as I enjoy this special, sacred time. I’ve built beautiful, rich retlationships with my clients who’ve become friends and share in this joy with me. As I evolve into this next evolution of wife and with my big 3️⃣0️⃣ birthday incoming… you’ll notice more evolving here too in this space. 😚

A moment for .rae.burn and her show at Bouddi Arts Trail. I popped in to support my talented friend and snap some shots of her works. Jaime Raeburn is an emerging artist from Avoca. Currently she’s been experimenting with ceramic tiles and artifacts found in nature to give beautiful pattern, symbolism and meaning. Not only that but she is an incredible painter spannning from landscape to abstract. She is humble, contemplative and sooo passionate about her evolving practice. Enjoy! 🤍

Two years ago, Lisa had an insight that wouldn’t let her go.

HR leaders feel incredibly lonely—despite being surrounded by people all day.

She’d lived it herself. At 26, managing 52 people under intense scrutiny. Two decades of consulting, watching capable leaders struggle in isolation. The weight of confidential information. The challenge of being a conduit between staff and executives with no one to process it all with.

So she started building something different.

An expert panel of generous, smart, funny people with deep experience. A place where overwhelmed HR leaders could finally think out loud without politics or agenda.

She called it HR Brains Trust.

When Lisa reached out about branding, she told me later that the decision was easy. It was the curiosity I brought to our first conversations. The questions that went deeper than surface-level aesthetics.

We spent 2.5 hours in brand immersion. Not rushing. Just excavating.

Then came the breakthrough moment.
Lisa realised something profound: her expert panel wasn’t just teaching collaborative workplace culture—they were already living it.

They were the proof of concept. The demonstration of what’s possible when you do workplace relationships right.

Everything clicked.

The loneliness insight became positioning. The collaborative model became differentiation. The “white space” she created for clients became a design philosophy. Her authentic values—fairness, kindness, courage—became brand personality.

“It all flowed but had structure,” Lisa said. “It was like we’d been working together for years, which is what made the journey so enjoyable. The overall look and feel is exactly what I am looking for,” she told me when she saw the final identity. “It’s very exciting!”

From her coach, Rachel Bourke, at SalesSpace: “This is music to our ears. We are thrilled with the result.”

HR Brains Trust launches this November with a brand that actually reflects who they are—not some polished version of what they think they should be.

One of my favourite creative shoots yet ✨ Celebrating artist and friend Eden Payne’s commissioned work for Gosford Regional Gallery – where we threw out the rulebook and just played. Posing with mirrors, scattered glass pieces, textured surfaces… letting the magic of her home studio guide us. When you create space for exploration over perfection, this is what happens. 🔥When someone says ‘let’s embrace the awkwardness and just see what happens’ – you know it’s going to be good.

The most beautiful part? An intimate moment behind the lens learning more about her process and the meaning behind the recycled plastic that inspired ownership in me for us to reimagine its belonging in a natural world, and how it’s become our responsibility.

Some projects remind me exactly why I do this work.

In our brand immersion sessions, we go deep—uncovering not just what you do, but why it matters, who you serve, and how your energy wants to show up in the world.

Alysia came to me with two brands—Unboxable and Purpose Lived Co.—both beautiful, both meaningful, but creating friction rather than flow. We honoured both, found the through-line, and created something that felt like coming home.

Through our brand immersion session, we discovered what truly resonated with her soul’s work and consolidated everything under Purpose Lived Co.

The brand identity we created reflects the transformative pathway work she offers: contemplative, grounded, sophisticated, with a circular logo that represents body, energetics, wholeness and return. The colour palette moves from soft neutrals through sage and periwinkle into deep, grounded purples—a visual journey that mirrors the inner work her clients experience.

❤️‍🔥 But the most powerful moment? Watching Alysia shift between our delivery call and our revision meeting. She showed up so pure, so clear, so aligned. The embodiment was breathtaking.

In her words: “You’ve been able to take what was just like a bit of a wish and you’ve put such clarity around it… The visuals, the flow, the wordsmithing, you are so amazing… You’re a rare gem and you’re so special… for bringing this brand into life you’re an angel.” 😇🥲🥲

This is the power of brand work that goes beyond aesthetics. When your visual identity truly reflects who you are and what you’re here to do, the embodiment is undeniable.⚡️⚡️⚡️

This is Alysia’s brilliance: She creates space for people to walk their purpose-lived pathway. And now her brand reflects the depth and beauty of that sacred work. 🤍

My heart is so full right now. Proper bursting 💓💥

When Lisa sent me these messages about her HR Brains Trust brand identity, I honestly did several shameless happy dances around my kitchen while my kids watched their mum completely lose it over client feedback.

Lisa came to me with this concept she’d been nurturing for two years - an expert panel designed to end the loneliness that HR leaders feel. During our brand immersion, we discovered something beautiful: she wasn’t just building a consulting business, she was modeling the exact collaborative culture she helps her clients create!

Watching someone see their vision reflected back clearly for the first time? That moment when they realise how powerful their story actually is? There’s nothing quite like it.

Lisa has been doing this work for over 20 years - supporting organisations, challenging toxic cultures, ensuring people have meaningful and safe work. Together, we recognised the gold that was already there.

Beyond grateful she trusted me with her story. Can’t wait to share more of this brand journey in the coming weeks.

This is what happens when you dig deep and remember that the best brands aren’t created - they’re discovered!!! 🗺️

When a client’s definition of success is ‘early mornings, sunrises, smiles, high fives, and time with my son,’ you know you’re not designing just another fitness brand…

This is Josh. And this is the moment I knew we weren’t creating a typical wellness brand - we were uncovering something transformational. 🌅

In our brand immersion session, while other trainers might talk about body transformations or Instagram followers, Josh described his vision of success: genuine high-fives at the end of sessions, clients who trust him with their mental health struggles, and creating a practice that gives him more time with his son, not less.

That’s when Altiora was born - not as a marketing concept, but as the authentic expression of what Josh has been quietly building for 14 years.

Sometimes the most powerful brands aren’t created from scratch. They’re discovered in the heart of someone who’s already living their mission. 🫡

You’re not meant to be understood in 30 seconds. You’re meant to be discovered over time. ✨

Can we please normalise being a little mysterious?

Why are we all trying so hard to explain ourselves completely in our Instagram bios when the most fascinating people you know probably can’t be summed up in three bullet points either?

I’m rebelling against the whole “you have 3 seconds to grab attention” marketing mentality. Like, yes, first impressions matter, but the most meaningful connections - whether with people or brands - develop through discovery and time.

Your depth can’t be captured in a single scroll. Your complexity won’t fit into an elevator pitch. Your multifaceted brilliance refuses to be summarised in a tagline.

And that’s exactly what we’re meant for.

The most electric people and brands aren’t the ones that give everything away upfront. They’re the ones that make you curious. That leave you wanting to know more. That reveal new layers every time you encounter them.

Same energy for your business, friend.
Your depth is what sets you apart in a world of surface-level everything. Your people will be intrigued by your complexity, not confused by it. They’ll want to stick around and see what else you’re about.

So maybe stop trying to fit your entire soul into a 30-second pitch and start thinking about how to create that “I want to know more” feeling instead.

Trust me, the people worth working with will appreciate the full story. ✨

The Finished Product ⚡️ swipe for before and afters 👉

A few weeks ago, Lisa walked into our session absolutely lighting up talking about her mission to support mums returning to work AND help businesses create better systems for their female employees. But the moment we looked at her website? Her whole energy shifted.

The foundation was already there. Her husband Duncan (bless him!) had built a perfectly functional Wix site with solid technical bones. Lisa’s copy was pure gold - the kind of writing that shows she genuinely understands both the individual journey and the business landscape. But her powerful words were getting lost without the visual flow to guide people through her story.

“I’ve poured everything into writing these sales pages, and I know they’re good… but nobody’s going to read them like this.”

Then came the moment that changed everything. Lisa showed me this gorgeous illustration she’d created for her “Survival Guide for the Juggle” and said, “I love this, but it’s probably too different from my brand.” I practically jumped out of my chair - those burnt orange and teal tones were EXACTLY what her brand had been waiting for!

So we got to work! 🚀

We transformed her worry about having “just pink and blue” into a sophisticated, flexible palette. Her beloved blue anchored everything, while we wove those gorgeous tones into two distinct experiences: warm, supportive energy for the mums she champions and professional, polished vibes for her corporate clients.

We turned walls of incredible copy into scannable, engaging experiences with strategic white space, bold headers, and calls-to-action that feel like genuine invitations.

But here’s what gets me most excited: Watching Lisa go from “I don’t know what I need” to “I can’t wait to share this with everyone!” The confidence shift has been absolutely beautiful to witness.

Today she launches her new offer suite that makes her expertise impossible to ignore 🔥

This is exactly why I do what I do.

Tomorrow: A quiet transformation that speaks volumes ✨

Lisa came to me with that familiar feeling - you know the one where your expertise runs deep, but somehow your online presence doesn’t quite capture what you’re really about? And she couldn’t quite put her finger on what she wanted, but she reached out to collaborate and I couldn’t have hoped for a more aligned project - instant sparks. And, as a fellow mama, I deeply resonate with and appreciate ‘s offerings and the impact she’s making in this world. 🌍

She’d crafted these thoughtful, comprehensive sales pages for her return-to-work mentoring practice. The content was genuinely beautiful - the kind of writing that shows real understanding of both the individual journey and the business landscape. But the presentation wasn’t quite letting her words do their work.

“I don’t know what I need, but I know this isn’t working,” she said simply. And honestly, that clarity about what wasn’t serving her was exactly the right starting point.

What emerged was surprisingly straightforward. We didn’t need to reinvent anything. We didn’t throw anything away. Her content was already doing exactly what it needed to do. It just needed space to breathe and flow in a way that felt natural to read.

So we refined. Chose colours that spoke to her different audiences authentically. Created visual rhythm that guides people through her story. Built experiences that feel distinctly tailored while remaining completely true to who she is.

The part that lights me up most? Watching Lisa recognise that her work was already complete - it simply needed the right environment to mirror her brilliance.

Tomorrow I’ll share how this unfolded, and you might find yourself considering what becomes possible when your digital presence feels as intentional as the work you do.

In my humble opinion, most meaningful changes happen quietly ✨

Sometimes the most honest feedback comes from our clients 😅

When Kerrie’s client lovingly called out her less than online presence, it was the wake-up call she needed. Here was this incredible therapist with 25+ years of experience, but her differing directory bio’s and no website made her look like she’d just graduated yesterday.

Sound familiar?

Here’s what I see all the time: brilliant entrepreneurs whose external brand doesn’t even come close to reflecting their internal wisdom. You’re out here changing lives, but your online presence is basically doing you dirty.

After our brand immersion session, everything shifted for Kerrie. We uncovered her fierce protective energy for young women healing mother-relationship wounds, her unique blend of somatic work and practical guidance, bolstered by her mission to break generational trauma cycles.

Now her website will actually tell the story of who she is and the depth of transformation she creates.

Because when your external brand finally matches your brilliance? That’s when your people find you and think “FINALLY. This is exactly who I’ve been looking for.”

Your turn: What’s the gap between your brilliance and how you’re showing up online?

Drop a 🙋‍♀️ if this hits home and you’re ready to close that gap.
