Scuba Therapy and Adaptive Scuba
The Scuba Gym allows people with Special Needs, like Quadraplegics, Paraplegics, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Lymes Disease, Dandy Walker Syndrome, Hypotonia, Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Autism, Down Syndrome, PTSD and amputees, and all others that have the desire to learn to scuba dive.
We have seen autistic children concentrate, focus, gain confidence, do things their parents thought they would never do.
Scuba Diving allows for unique therapy in a weightless environment giving people the ability to increase strength and flexibility not possible during normal workouts. At the Scuba Gym, individualized workouts without gravity are designed to naturally heal the body. The benefits are individual to each participant and are life-changing.
