Diabierna cu a pasa, 20 di mei 2022 mi a duna un workshop di Mindful Contact na e grupo di Praktijkondersteuners Huisartsenzorg Aruba. E intencion tabata pa duna nan hermentnan pa deal mihor cu nan dia a dia, cu sa encera situacionnan mentalmente y emocionalmente pisa.

Despues di a laga zak y integrá mi experiencia suficiente, awe mi ta comparti algun imagennan.

Mi a enjoy masha hopi mes di por a guia e grupo aki. Y mi ta mega agradecido na POH'ers Aruba pa e oportunidad, pa e regalo cu e ta pa incorporá e experiencia di cosnan cu a bai bon, con mi a wordo ricibi y tambe e feedback (direct & indirect) cu a dunami tocante mi puntonan di desaroyo.

Mi ta siñando 🙏🏻😌❤ y na mes momento mi ta sinti ful confiansa den mi servicio na humanidad y cu mi a duna locual mi a intencioná.

Last friday may 20th 2022 I gave a workshop on Mindful Contact to the 'Praktijkondersteuners Huisartsenzorg Aruba'. The intention was to give them tools to deal better with their day to day, that implies situations that can be mentally and emotionally heavy.

After some time to let sink in and incorporate my experience, today I share some images.

I really enjoyed guiding this group. And I am super grateful to them for the opportunity, for the gift it is to incorporate the experience of things that went well, how I was received and also for the feedback (directly & indirectly) on points of development.

I am learning 🙏🏻😌❤ and at the same time I am confident of my service to humanity and that I gave what I intended.

I am a richer person now ❤.

I want to thank my friend for her inmense support in realising this moment ❤. And everybody else who in one way or another helped me ❤.

That you are missing someone or something just means that that something or someone isn't there in that moment. But it doesn't say anything about it having been goof for you or not.

Sometimes we want to make ourselves believe that because we are missing it, it fit and was good in our lives. But whatever habit, good or bad for you, is just that - a habit. Even if it wasn't good for you, when you stop it, you're going to miss it. Especially if you were very attached to it.

Your system just got used to its presence. And when it's gone, the system notices its absence, and its effects, everything it influenced, is felt. That's the "missing" feeling.

When you stop doing something, or break a structure that doesn't serve you anymore, you have to take this feeling, this process into account. It will be much less or maybe gone completely by more or less 21 days after stopping (completely).

Be aware of this when you stop something.

I can not stop expressing how important, if not thé most important thing it is to feel, in healing and leading a healthy (emotional, psychological, mental, spiritual) life.

Emotions are meant to be felt. They are energies in motion! When they aren't felt, they accumulate in your body, and stagnate flow of energy.

We take too little space in our lives for this. And that's a pity. And causes all types of unnecessary discomforts.

Have you ever felt the difference between reading a text (of your trigger) when you are angry, and reading it after you've felt the anger through your body?

Well there's an excersize there for you:
Try to feel the anger in your body. How does it feel? Breath, try to be there with it. Notice if you want to escape from it. Accept that. Feel it. Acknowledge the thoughts, acknowledge the sensations. Breath. When you feel calmer and lighter, read the text after (again). You will be surprised.

To express or not to express? That is the question.

When will expression bring you closer to your Self, or is in alignment with your Self. And when is it not?

In my experience, it's worth being mindful of. And it helped me a lot to learn not to judge myself when I noticed it wasn't what was best to do. But (learn) to accept it as a just a moment in my development process, that I could learn from, that's it. Oeps! Just a mistake ;-).

We are learning, and growing. No need to be hard on ourselves. Rather find the way to encourage you, loving you. So if you've fallen, made a mistake, you can easily stand up and try again.

When I was making this post, I was listening to Justin Bieber's song: Purpose. For me it feels like he's talking to God/ His Self. The spoken outro, I felt is saying what I'm trying to express in this moment. Maybe you want to check it out.

Ami el a yuda hopi mes pa ta mindful di esaki. Y siña no husga mi mes ora mi nota cu tabata mihor cu e no a pasa. Pero (siña) acepta cu tabata djies un momento den bo proceso di desaroyo, un momento pa siña for di dje, that's it. Oeps! foutje ;-).

Nos ta siñando y creciendo. No tin mester di ta duru cu nos mes. Pero haya maneranan pa encurashá nos mes, stima nos mes. So si bo cai, haci un fout, e ora bo por para back facil y purba atrobe.

Ora mi tabata trahando e post akimi a tende e cantica di Justin Bieber's: Purpose. P'ami e ta sinti manera e ta papiando cu Dios/ Su Mes. E outro papiá, a sinti manera loke mi a purba expresa cu e post aki. Porta bo kier bai scuché.

Are you (genuinely) thankful today? Or how ARE you actually feeling?

I am an advocate of love and truth. And love is inclusive and so includes all truths and realities. Not only the nice and pretty ones.

Now, I am not saying not to be thankful. If you are, that's great! But I am saying, pay attention to what you are really feeling. And try to be honest. If there is more or different, like sadness, not thankful, resentful - well - those are realities too.

And in love, we welcome these aswell. We welcome them like a child. By being kind and gentle with ourselves. By neither repressing or denying the feeling, but also not acting them out. But by - just - (this, I know is a whole practise for many of us) being with them, befriending them, like a hurt friend who needs love.

Without wanting the situation to be different. Because there is something rather aggressive in wanting our present moment to be different than it is.

So the most loving thing we could maybe do, in my experience, is - atleast try our best by - sitting and being with what is. Try our best to find comfort in the discomfort, if that is what is present. Breathing, and relaxing in it.

They'll pass naturally by adopting these kinds of attitudes towards feelings and emotions. Trust in the present as a sign, it'll lead you to the happy thanks ánd giving state which is your true self, in your own time.

So today, how could you be present with yourself with whatever - nice or not nice - you are feeling?

In thanks for this wisdom, the love and appreciation it has brought me for the journey including its struggles 🙏🏻.
