Dr. Rafiq Uddin obtained his postgraduate degree MD (Endocrinology) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Dhaka. He is a 25th BCS (Health) officer, working as an Assistant Professor of Endocrinology Department, Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
He completed his Residency training at BSMMU (PG Hospital) & BIRDEM, Dhaka. He took part in several Workshop/Symposium/Higher training in India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea & European countries about update Management of Diabetes & other endocrine diseases.
He has specialization in different hormonal dynamic investigations like Synacthin test. Dexamethasone suppression test, Growth hormone provocation test and water deprivation test etc. Dr. Rafiq has special interest about Thyroid disorders, sexual disorder & infertility.
Dr. Rafiq is a life member of Bangladesh Endocrine Society & Organizing secretary of Convenong Committee of Association of Clinical Endocrinologist & Diabetologist, Bangladesh (ACED,B). He is also Join secretary of BSMMU Endocrine alumni association.
