Disabled Development and Research Center-DDRC DDRC is Non-Governmental, Non Political, Non Profitable Organization The organization was established in 2006. He was leading a normal life before his accident.

Back ground of the organization is the consequence of the painful accident of its founder and CEO. In 2003 he became a victim of road accident. On that day, while he was entering into the factory premise with a rickshaw to visit the factory located at Rupshi, Narayangong; a truck crashed his rickshaw occurring him severe injury. He started to think that, despite he lost his locomotors capability; still he has a lot to lead the life. He became able to realize that disability is not inability. He has lots of things to do differently. He realized that he is not alone a disable. There are lots of PWDs throughout Bangladesh. But, unfortunately they are discriminated in all respects. He realized that there should have some platform to be leaded and managed by the PWD’s and to serve the PWDs. As long as realizing the necessity of a platform of PWDs, he shared his desire to establish an organization with his family members and friends who inspired him a lot too. Consequently, obtaining their supports; he formed the DDRC in 2006 in Chittagong. The organization started working with persons with disabilities to make them aware and organized. Gradually, it has been growing up.
