A patient came with me with complain of pain in the elbow for one month with the history of trauma at that site. On examination I have found nothing in elbow.But surprisingly no radial pulsation of that limb.Limb perfusion was fine.
Send the patient for Doppler study.Found a foreign body in the Brachial artery that causes complete occlusion of Brachial artery.
After giving z type incision in elbow a small piece of bamboo ( বাঁশের কঞ্চি) found and a small segment of Brachial arty(6 cm) was thrombosed. I have removed the segment and a small piece of Great saphenous vein harvested. Finally two anastomosis done. Alhamdullilllah radial pulse was found immediately.Thank God.
