Isn’t it fascinating how every single time a woman speaks the truth—clearly, confidently, unapologetically—she’s immediately labelled as either “crazy” or “slut ”?
Like clockwork.
She sets a boundary? “Unstable.”
She holds someone accountable? “Too emotional.”
She refuses to be polite about injustice? “Must be damaged.”
She tells the truth? “Probably slept her way to it.”
Honestly, it’s a marvel of modern society—how quickly a woman’s clarity and conviction get diagnosed as mental illness or moral failure.
Because, of course, it couldn’t possibly be that she’s just… right.
No no. That would upset the delicate balance of fragile egos everywhere.
Instead, it’s much easier to paint her as unhinged. Makes the truth easier to ignore when it comes from a woman labelled “difficult,” “hysterical,” or “too much.”
But hey—if speaking the truth gets you called crazy, maybe we need more women going gloriously, unapologetically mad.
Here’s to all the “crazy” women. The world would be unbearable without you ❤️
