Wishing you a happy "World Hospice and Palliative Care Day" to all my palliative care colleagues worldwide. As being a palliative care provider we know the importance of this day to raise our voices for accessibility of palliative care services and increase awareness among the health care professionals as well as society.

Each year, 2nd Saturday of October palliative care professionals are celebrating the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD).

This day is very important to them who are working to relieve the unbearable sufferings of those patients who are living with life threatening incurable diseases like - cancer, HIV/AIDS, end stage cardiac/liver/kidney diseases, uncontrolled end stage diabetes/hypertension or any disease or health conditions which is not responding to curable treatment options.

6th Clinical Course on Oncology & Palliative Care will be started from 07th - 25th September 2025.
This course is jointly organized by Bangladesh Cancer Society (BCS) and Cancer Services & Research Centre (CSRC).

2 weeks clinical internship at following hospitals
** Bangladesh Cancer Society Hospital & Welfare Home (BCSHWH)
** Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH)
