2. Active Listening: Focus on understanding the critic's perspective rather than planning a rebuttal.

3. Avoid Defensiveness: Do not immediately argue or counterattack; instead, try to remain curious about their point of view.

4. Evaluate the Feedback: Determine if the criticism is valid. Even if only a small part is true, it can be used for improvement.

5. Separate Self-Worth: Realize that criticism is often an opinion, not a reflection of your total value.

6. Ask for Specifics: Request concrete examples to clarify vague or unfair criticism.
Respond Appropriately:

If valid: Acknowledge the point and thank the person for the feedback.
If invalid/unfair: Politely express your perspective and provide, or offer to provide, supporting data.
If hostile: Set boundaries and refuse to engage in disrespectful conversation
