Position: Deputy Manager/Manager, Health Research and Program
Overall Summary:
The Deputy Manager/Manager, Health Research and Program plays a critical role in the success of our organization's health research and program initiatives. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with expertise in research methodologies and program implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Management:
âĒ Oversee the design, implementation, and analysis of research studies related to public health issues.
âĒ Manage research budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources. âĒ Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to develop research proposals and secure funding.
âĒ Conduct data analysis and interpret research findings to inform program development and policy decisions.
âĒ Prepare and present research reports and publications.
Program Management:
âĒ Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based health programs in collaboration with program staff and community partners.
âĒ Manage program budgets and timelines, ensuring effective program delivery. âĒ Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, collecting and analyzing data to measure impact. âĒ Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address program challenges and opportunities for improvement.
âĒ Develop and implement program sustainability plans.
Team Leadership:
âĒ Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of researchers and program staff. âĒ Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
âĒ Manage team performance and conduct performance reviews.
âĒ Recruit and onboard new team members.
Communication and Collaboration:
âĒ Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, program staff, funders, community partners, and the public.
âĒ Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
âĒ Advocate for the importance of health research and evidence-based program development.
Qualifications:
âĒ Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, or another relevant field. MBBS Degree will get preference.
âĒ Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in health research and program implementation. âĒ Strong understanding of research methodologies, data analysis, and program evaluation. âĒ Proven experience in managing research projects and budgets.
âĒ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
âĒ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
