Fakir Apparels is proud to be the first facility in the country, certified by OceanSafe, to develop and integrate NaNea biodegradable polyester into our product range. This achievement recognizes our commitment to fashion circularity; setting a benchmark for sustainable manufacturing and environmental stewardship in the region.

What is NaNea?
• Next-Gen Biodegradable Polyester: NaNea is the first synthetic textile material that is Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) certified.
• Circular Design: Developed to replace conventional polyester in performance and cost, NaNea is biodegradable in both soil and marine environments under specific conditions.
• Non-Toxic: The fiber is toxicant-free, making it a safer choice for people and planet.
