Homoeopathy is the science of therapeutics based on the law of similar or "Similia Similibus Curentur" means -let likes be treated by likes.
According to this law, a drug acts as a curative agent in a disease only if it is capable of producing in a healthy individual a diseased state exactly similar to that observed in the diseased individual. In short, a drug which can produce a disease in a healthy human being can cure disease when similar manifestation comes in the body.
