ডায়াবেটিক নিউরোপ্যাথি কী?
এটি হচ্ছে স্নায়ুর উপর ডায়াবেটিসের প্রতিক্রিয়াজনিত প্রভাব। অনেক সময় অনিয়ন্ত্রিত অথবা অনিয়মিতভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রিত ডায়াবেটিসের কারণে ১০-১৫ বছর সময়ের মধ্যে এই রোগ হয়। আবার কোনো কোনো ক্ষেত্রে পাঁচ বছরের মধ্যেই হতে পারে। প্রকৃত কারণ খুব ভালোভাবে জানা যায়নি। তবে ধারণা করা হয়, রক্তে গ্লুকোজের আধিক্যই এর কারণ।
