As today it’s International Day Of People With Disabilities we keep standing with every person whose strength often goes unseen. 🫂🤍 Disabilities visible or invisible deserve recognition, understanding, respect, and support. Yet, for millions, daily life is a constant struggle against systems that fail to see them.
For those living with sickle cell disease, the battles are real and relentless. Access to healthcare, education, and equal opportunities is still limited in many countries. Many are not counted in disability statistics, left out of critical decisions, and denied the recognition they deserve. The system is still failing and that’s why our work continues.
For 4 years, we hav been advocating across Europe and Africa, taking part in decision-making tables, raising awareness, and amplifying the voices of those who cannot speak for themselves. 📢
We fight to make healthcare more accessible, policies more inclusive, and society more understanding.
Disability is not a barrier it is a call for justice. Awareness is not optional it saves lives. And advocacy is not a choice it is our responsibility. 🩸
Together, we can ensure that no voice is left unheard, and no struggle remains invisible.
