Dear Visitor,
Welcome at African Society of Hypertension (AfSoH) Initiative website. The AfSoH Initiative aimed to be the largest African professional organization of scientific investigators, academicians and health care professionals committed to documenting, monitoring and managing hypertension and its consequences on the continent. The Society will serves as an independent institutionalized body that bridges current hypertension research with effective clinical treatment strategies for patients. The society has a merit of transparent management, dynamism and partnership in the field, at continental level and International level;
The AfSoH Initiative is a new project, started since June 2010 with the label of Pan-African Society of Hypertension (PASH,Inc.) initiative
The initiative to start the society is coordinated by an a.i. Steering Committee as executive organ, and is still in fundraising phase. Steering Committee gather 12 persons: all of them are health professionals, scholars or scientists, or academicians active in the field of hypertension and related disorders in Africa. The official membership is obtain after registration.
