Our favourite time of the year has arrived 🥰

That’s why we created something special for you this Advent! 🌲✨

Every Sunday, we’ll share a session inspired by a different culture and its winter traditions… the rituals people used to welcome the dark season, protect their homes, and find warmth in the coldest weeks of the year.

For the 1st Advent, we begin in the Nordic North.
A time when households burned juniper smoke, spruce resin, and tar to cleanse the home before midwinter.
Evergreen branches were placed above doorways for protection, and smoke became a quiet guardian against the long December darkness. 🌿

This week is all about:
Smoke. Evergreen. Protection. Threshold.
A grounding ritual for stepping into winter. 🫶🏻

Magnolia (Nioi Kobushi) 🌱
Bright, citrusy, uplifting for us a sunshine in a bottle.
Softly floral but surprisingly fresh, it’s the kind of scent that lifts your whole mood.
It’s also the most precious oil in our collection right now.

Kuromoji 🌿
A calm, woody, slightly sweet aroma, and one of most loved scents in Japan at the moment.
It’s distilled in such tiny batches that only 1 litre becomes available every four months, which is why it comes in 11 ml.

What a journey this has been 🥹❤️

This year we launched something completely new, the very first Modern Classic Aufguss competition. An idea that has lived in our mind and heart for a long time finally became reality, and seeing it come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my work in the Aufguss world. 🥰

The first year is always about finding the way. And that’s exactly what happened. Every nation, every participant brought their own interpretation of what modern classic means. Yet when we look at the results, one thing is clear: at the core, it truly is about the classic. About the craft of moving the air, creating heat, and connecting with the guest.

That’s the beauty of this competition. It brings us back to what we all fell in love with: real aufguss, real technique, real connection. ❤️

A huge thank you to the entire team of Livigno. Especially to .You created a home for all of us — warm, supportive, and full of heart. Your organisation was flawless, but even more importantly, you made everyone feel like one big family.

My biggest congratulations to the winners. Masters of their craft, each with more than a decade of experience, showing us once again how aufguss should be done.

And congratulations to every participant. The level was incredibly high. Each of you delivered quality, passion, and skill. These are the sessions we all want to see again and again. I’m so proud of you❤️

What makes this competition special is exactly its size. It’s intimate. It’s personal. Here, borders disappear. There are no groups, no divisions, just friends standing together, learning from one another, supporting one another. That spirit is the foundation of Modern Classic, and we will protect it in the coming years.

Thank you all for being part of the first chapter of this new journey. This is only the beginning. ❤️🔥

First Modern Classic Cup in Norway. 🇳🇴

This weekend at Farris Bad was honestly something special. Weekend full of good vibes and coziness in middle of Norwegian storm. 🥰

The 11 participants showed such beautiful modern classic aufgusses, but what made it truly amazing was the atmosphere. No pressure, no crazy prep — just being together, connecting with the guests, sharing what we love, and enjoying every moment. That’s what sauna is really about. That’s what Modern Classic Cup brings. Big congratulations to Chris and Lorna, you were shining bright!

✨ The International Sauna Congress 2026 officially launched this Wednesday – and it’s heading to Oslo 🇳🇴 ✨, organized by Norges Badstulaug and the ISA - International Sauna Associationociation.

This event takes place only once every four years, and we are incredibly proud that Aromen BVBA has been selected as one of the three main sponsors, as the official Sauna Culture Stage Sponsor.

Aufguss WM 2025 ... an event to remember! 🔥❤️

We thank everyone who came to visit us at our stand, the participants for their outstanding performance, team for the hospitality and for bringing everyone TOGETHER.

A special thanks to the Aromen team Felix, Mirah and Eveline for spreading their loving energy and knowledge during these 7 days of Aufguss , you are the best 🥰✨️

To Robert, jeeeez 1st and 2nd place... you are an unstoppable living legend who not only has alot of talent but also shares it with a team which fully gets elevated by you. Big respect ! Robert, Barbora and Gabor, 2 times pulling of that high level choreography shows Your talent and passion. Hopefully Gabors cheeks gets a rest now 🤭.

To all of our trainers and ambassadors, we are so honored that we can work together and inspire the aufguss world. The work and time you put in to all of your aufgusses is beyond, each one made a big mark in our harts an memories. Thank you so much for bringing your art and creativity. In the end, its all worth it and the ranking is just a number. The real value is the emotions, joy, tears, laughter and happiness you brought to the guest.

In-house education in 🌿

This Monday and Tuesday, we had the privilege of hosting an exclusive in-house training on blending smoke and infusion for essential oils, and we couldn’t be more excited to have most enthusiastic, and most talented saunamasters in the world with us. 🏆✨

These saunamasters are more then champions, they are a collective of energy, joy, and creativity that never fails to bring fresh, playful, and innovative ideas (please see the last video 🤭)

We dove deep into the art of combining smoke and essential oil and infusion to create an immersive, aromatic journey and storytelling in sauna. The atmosphere was electric with ideas, experiments, and shared laughter—true teamwork in its most playful form!

Can’t wait for the next one!
