I used to think morning routines were overrated.

Now I get it!

It’s not about the matcha or the playlist, not at all!

It’s about choosing yourself before the world gets a chance to pull you in a million directions.

For me, the beginning of starting to build my morning routine was when COVID began.

And weirdly, it has stuck with me ever since! I am a bit of a creature of habit and when I find something that I enjoy and that makes me feel better, I tend to come back to it again and again.

That’s exactly how I’ve built up the habit of waking up a little bit early and stealing just a little bit of time for myself, whether it’s to workout, to stretch, to read a book, or to take myself for a quick walk around the neighbourhood before work begins.

The mood change, and the energy shift for the rest of the day is unmatched!

I’m all about meals that take max 10 minutes in the kitchen,  anything longer and I’m out 😅As long as it hits my calorie...

I’m all about meals that take max 10 minutes in the kitchen, anything longer and I’m out 😅

As long as it hits my calories and macros, keeps me feeling good, and gives me energy for the day, I’m happy!

I’m definitely a bit of a creature of habit (once I like something… I’ll eat it 5 days in a row without shame 😂).

I’ll also do different variations of the same ingredients that I know I like and enjoy eating. 🍽️

So when I hear someone say healthy is complicated or it takes too much time, it’s maybe that they haven’t found what works exactly for them.

Just pick food that makes sense and actually nourishes you.

I know how frustrating it feels to put in the effort and not see the progress you want!

Trust me, I’ve been there! 🥹

But here’s the reality for you:

1️⃣ If you’re not following a structured plan, you’re kind of guessing your way through and guessing won’t get you results. Plan it out and watch how things change.

2️⃣ Eating “healthy” is great, but are you actually tracking? Estimating is actually holding you back. Start tracking or follow a personalised meal plan from your coach to eliminate the guess work.

3️⃣ This one’s tough love but you’ve got to hear it… you’ve got to stick with it. Progress takes time, but the small wins add up. Don’t quit before you see the results happen.

You’ve got this, remember consistency is key, and if you need a bit of extra guidance, because you don’t know where you’re going wrong, let’s work on it together. And make it happen! 💪🏻❤️

So many of my clients come to me after trying for years.

Different diets, different programs, different “rules.”

I know you’re tired of starting again.

You’ve tried so many times.

Meal plans, workouts, new routines… and every time you promise yourself this one’s going to stick.

But then life happens.

You lose motivation.

You fall off track and the guilt hits hard.

You start to wonder if maybe it’s just you.

Maybe nothing works.

Maybe you’re not meant to be “that” woman who’s consistent, confident, and in control.

But you are.

You’ve just been trying from a place of pressure instead of compassion.

And I get it, because I’ve been there too.

You just need to start again this time, from a place of kindness.

Not because you hate your body, but because you care about yourself enough to keep going.

So yes, start again.

One more time.

Back when I worked in corporate in the UK..

I used to label every single thing I ate as “good” or “bad.”

I remember walking into work, telling myself:

“I’m being good today.”

A colleague would have brought cookies, pastries, biscuits…
and I’d say “No, not today. I’m not having any of that this week.”

But then, someone would offer me one..

and after a few hours of resisting, I’d give in.

And the moment I did, that voice in my head would start:

“You’ve ruined it now.”
“You have no willpower.”
“You’ll never stick to it.”

By the time I got home, I’d think,

“Well, what’s the point now?”

…and end up eating everything I’d been avoiding all week.

Then the scenario just repeated itself..

promising that tomorrow I’d be perfect.

Only to “lose control” again the next day.

And do you know what?

It was never the cookie that was the problem.

It was the way I tied my worth to every bite of food.

The way I made myself believe I’d “failed” the moment I wasn’t perfect.

And I know so many women feel the same…

successful, driven, ambitious women who can handle so much in life…
.yet secretly feel powerless around food.

And here’s the thing you need to realise…

the moment you stop living in extremes, you stop spiraling.

The moment you let go of food rules, you find balance.

The moment you let go of the guilt, you find freedom.

✨ Confidence doesn’t come from saying no to the cookie.
