Grateful Beyond Words!

Today I opened an email that made my heart pause for a moment…
I was nominated for the Spirit of WBL Award.

I can’t even begin to express how deeply this touched me.

To know that my energy, authenticity, and love for building community is seen… that means everything. WBL has been an amazing group of women, a space where women lift each other up, cheer each other on, and remind one another that we are not meant to walk this journey alone.

If I bring warmth, connection, or a brighter moment into this community, it’s only because WBL has done the same for me. I have met incredible women who inspire me every day with their strength, compassion, and brilliance. Being part of this circle and helping welcome others into it, has been one of the greatest gifts of my entrepreneurial life.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to whoever nominated me.
Thank you to the women who show up with vulnerability, courage, and heart.
Thank you to this beautiful community that believes in collaboration over competition. Which aligns with my value as an entrepreneur.

I am honored. I am humbled. I am grateful.

This sweet baby smiled the entire session - pure joy from start to finish.
Mom and Dad didn’t want to be in the photos, and that’s perfectly okay - but I still wanted their presence to be felt.

So, I invited them to simply place their hands around their baby… gentle, protective, full of love.
Those hands tell a story too - of comfort, connection, and the beginning of a new chapter.

Even without faces, their love fills every image.
That’s the beauty of newborn photography - it’s not just about the baby, it’s about the *circle of love* that surrounds them.

This little baby girl couldn’t stop smiling during their newborn session - and it was pure joy!
Every time a baby smiles, it melts hearts - but did you know there’s science behind it too?

Newborn smiles often start as **“reflex smiles”** - tiny expressions that happen while they’re relaxed or dreaming. But around **6–8 weeks**, babies begin to **socially smile** - that’s when they start recognizing voices, faces, and love around them.

So when I capture that tiny grin, it’s more than just adorable… it’s a glimpse of their growing connection to the world.

I can’t help but feel grateful to freeze those in-between moments - the ones that say, *“I’m loved, I’m safe, I’m home.”* 💫

Just to remind you that beautiful things are around ourselves all the time, as I was photographing a maternity session last week at the Acton Arboretum before my session ended, I photograph these flowers and the bee. Let's pause, breath and appreciate some beauty in the midst of so much chaos we live in today. Happy Tuesday!

When Silvana turned 50, she decided it was time to do something just for herself.
Not for work. Not for an event. Just for her.
She joined my 25 Faces, 25 Stories campaign wanting to see herself through new eyes -to feel, in her own words, “amazing.”
Through our session, she rediscovered her confidence, her energy, and the joy of celebrating who she is today - a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and woman who just completed her master’s degree in social work!
Silvana reminded me that beauty, joy, and purpose don’t fade with time - they deepen with it.
I had such a wonderful time photographing her and can’t thank her enough for being part of this project with me.

My Story

I have been a photographer for 10 years, with knowledge in people’s portrait. But my passion is to photograph the beginning of life where mom carry a baby in her belly, where the love and hope for this baby can be register through my lens. After that, I can be hire to photograph the birth, that is right, you read this, I will go to the hospital while mom is in labor, registering not just the moment that baby is born but before that with all the support and those first moments you see your most loved one and the history continues, I have a studio in my home in Acton where I design for a newborn session, with plenty of lights, changing table and a chair for mom to feed her baby.
