Asian medicine is based on an energetic model rather than the biochemical model of Western medicine.

The ancient Chinese recognized the vital energy behind all life forms and life processes. They called this energy Qi (pronounced "chee").

Ancient physicians, in developing and understanding the prevention and cure of disease, discovered a system of specific energetic pathways in the human body. Acupuncture points are located along these pathways. Each point has a predictable effect upon the vital energy passing through it. “Welcome to Aguas Sagradas—Sacred Waters Healing & Consulting!

What's electric in my practice right now are two new groups I am offering at the beginning of September. The first, "We Are Women We Can Fly" is for folks wanting to work through healing personal trauma in a group setting. It does mean you have already had some individual work and are ready for this kind of group or, you could begin seeing me and then see if you are ready for healing in a group setting. (description in the services section and you can reach out on my website to contact me.)

The second group is a Creative Writing/Mixed-media group for Cultural Creatives, "Womyn as Elemental". This group will be fire—a generative writing and cross-medium group working with different writing forms, utilizing other mediums to inspire/conspire/transpire new ways to write in community as we create a space to brighten our world together (info in the services section--please contact me for more info.)
