The rain, mist and magic of the Himalayan Mountains conspired to create two magical sessions at Ozen Resort in Paro..a privilege to share the healing power of the gong in the presence of a small group on Saturday and Sunday. Yangchen Rinzin and I opened Sunday morning’s session with opened with a gentle sound bath with Rinpoche Tenzin Priyadarshi , president and CEO of The Dali Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values, at M.I.T. then sharing his wisdom over a course of nearly three hours .
The healing power of sound is undeniable. Combined with Rinpoche transmission this beautiful testimonial encapsulates the experience.
My humble thanks to Rinpoche Tenzin for sharing his gifts and sacrifice of sleep he made and the participants for your kind sharing.
To the staff at Ozen: a thousand thanks for hauling gongs, stands bowls and the tools “ of this magical trade” up and down stairs in the rain .

Last night, a remarkable family, including Tshering, who has recently returned from Australia and now practices energy work, along with her two sisters and grandmother, joined us. Bhuwan, who has answered the call of the gong, and I had the privilege of playing for this extraordinary family. At Bodhitse, our vision is to foster a community where friends, family, and individuals of all ages can come together to share in a journey of love, connection, and revitalization. Good morning..I speak to people everyday day who say” I am stressed, tired and 1) want to come to one of your sound baths ; OR 2) I loved your sound bath.It made me feel so good !”……. But, I am too busy to come now.

Hello, my lovelies,

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but I will be away for important personal matters, which means there will be no Gong Sound Bath meditation this week and until further notice.

I am thrilled to express my heartfelt gratitude to Haa Valley and the TCB for incorporating sound meditation into the Bhutan wellbeing program, a truly visionary initiative that promotes wellness for both Bhutanese and tourists alike, marking a significant leap forward. In 2019, sound healing modalities using gongs, singing bowls, and chants were virtually unknown, but on June 14-15, 200 people gathered in our serene room overlooking Haa Valley, immersing themselves in a kaleidoscope of sounds and experiencing the instruments firsthand, a testament to the profound wisdom of the ancients, who intuitively knew that sound has the power to heal and transform. I extend my deepest appreciation to Yangchen Rinzin, who has been an integral part of this journey from its inception. Together, we aspire to have created a symphony of magical healing sounds that will resonate with you all, and we are excited to embark on this extraordinary journey, one that has only just begun!
