A salary is a wonderful thing to have, as long as you remember that it's only a short-term solution to a life-long problem and one day, the solution won't be there anymore but the problem will still be around waking you up everyday.

Depending on one income is like drinking Panado and expecting the Cancer to go away, it can hide the pain for a little while but it doesn't last very long because the problem is still there and it never really goes away.

What you should do, is find a way to employ your salary and pay yourself after your employer pays you. That's how you make sure you never need a salary again when you no longer have one.
