Recent times haven’t been easy for the world. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the changes and uncertainties, you are not alone.
One way or the other, directly and indirectly we have all experienced sense of Loss from normal life. Divorce. Death. The pandemic. Financial difficulty. Illness. Uncertainty. Anxiety. Life has changed as we knew it.
Now more than ever is important to be able to take care of our emotional and mental health. Be able to express and seek help comfortably. There’s a huge concern across the globe that “The next pandemic is mental health”
Wellness Series with Lucia Season 3 Episode 2 discusses “Coping with Loss and Grief” with Dr Selemogwe Selemogwe of Psych Matters BW. Today’s episode allows us to recognize the need for us to stay calm, recognize red flags and most importantly seek help and communicate.
Dr Selemogwe Selemogwe is a passionate advocate for Mental Health. She holds a PhD in Forensic Clinical Psychology and specializes in Forensic Mental Health Assessments ( Insanity evaluation, Child Custody Evals, Risk Assessments, Competency to Stand Trial Assessment, Work Injury (PTSD related),Psycho therapy- individual , couples , family and child therapy, Trial Consulting - ( consultant for attorneys),Research interests - Mental health expert testimony, criminal behavior, white collar crimes, psychology and law issues, trauma , women and children’s issues, fatherhood issues and lgbt issues
