OFFICE OF MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR MOLEPOLOLE NORTH CONSTITUENCY HANDS OVER A DONATION OF MEDICAL COMMODITIES TO SCOTTISH LIVINGSTONE HOSPITAL
In response to nationwide medical commodities shortages,Medical Devices Botswana through Office of Member of Parliament for Molepolole North Constituency has donated medical commodities to support healthcare services.
The donation was handed over yesterday by Honourable Councillors on behalf of Member of Pariament for Molepolole North,Honourable Arafat Khan.Speaking at the handover, Honourable Onneile Maitewa highlighted that these initiatives complement government efforts to alleviate critical drugs shortages and noted that the donation reaffirms that healthcare is a shared responsibility.
Honourable Onneile Maitewa assured the hospital management of future collaboration to enhance the wellbeing of the people and strengthen health infrastructure.
When receiving the donation,the Acting Hospital Superitendent,Dr. Collen Maipelo expressed gratitude for this timely donation and noted that this gesture of solidarity is greatly appreciated and will directly enhance patient outcomes and improve the quality of care.
The donations comprises of 1ml syringes and Ibuprofen tablets.
