Here is our Job Description.
•Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Experience as a healthcare practitioner such as nurse, doctor, pharmacist or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
• Adept at problem solving and analysis
• Good communication and interpersonal/team skills,
• Effective and culturally sensitive communication skills with individuals and families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
• Bilingual based on community need
• Ability to motivate members to be active participants in their health
• Maintain member respect and dignity while displaying maturity, empathy, ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Provide health education and advocacy to members and their families
• Must have a high regard for confidential information
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Computer and Microsoft Office experience.
• Accurate data entry at 40 WPM minimum.
• Ability to develop and execute plans of care and prepare reports as needed or requested
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and one of the following: Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin.
• Maintain regular attendance based on agreed-upon schedule
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with co-workers, clients, members, providers and customers.
*Call Center Experience is a plus
*Willing to be flexible
*Willing to work in Belize City, Belize
Pay rate is commensurate with experience.
