Your health is the most important thing you have in life. It directly determines the quality of the life you have and your ability to enjoy it with the people you love. I am sad to see how many people choose to live a low-quality life and this makes them at risk for diseases. It is often not a choice intentionally, but a lack of knowledge and education. As I myself was overweight myself for most of elementary school and all of high school. I wanted to lose weight so bad, but I did not know how, and they did not teach us this in school, even in Canada we lack proper nutritional education in regard to weight loss. As an adult, after I sought out the knowledge and studied this extensively I have gone from 200lbs to 160lbs and maintained it off while being able to eat what I want and drink with my friends so I really do understand what I am talking about and have been trained by the best nutritionists, metabolic specialists, and personal trainers that Canada had to offer.

Greek Yogurt is on our meal plan as for the same serving of plain yoghurt it contains double the amount of protein while having less carbs and the same amount of fat. This is critical for anyone who has a goal of either losing body fat or building muscle.

When losing weight you are in a calorie deficit and it is critical you meet your 1/g of protein per pound of body weight or you will lose muscle mass. You only want to lose body fat not muscle mass.

When building muscle mass you will be eating at your caloric maintenance and you are going to find that it is really hard to even then meet your 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight without eating in a caloric surplus causing you to gain body fat.

Unless you are a body builder we don't believe in bulking and cutting. You eat at your calorie maintenance and gain muscle slowly. You do not need to be in a calorie surplus to gain muscle. You only need protein, water, and a stimulus.

Gyms are now closed again. Well guess what that didn't stop me from learning Calisthenics and working out at home every single day of lockdown so that when I do get the virus my body will absolutely destroy it. It's a choice we can all make to reduce our risk of hospitalization. Your resting heart rate is a real thing and so is your VO2 score. For a respiratory disease these are two of the important factors you should be working on to improve.

I have begun writing a nutrition and calisthenics exercise book that will be free for all Belize.

The only people at risk for hospitalization due to COVID-19 are the elderly and weak. Energy drinks are not meal plan approved due to the added refined sugar which will prevent you from losing weight. Although the medical ingredients themselves are all approved and actually recommend since our workouts are physically demanding. Energy drinks are also expensive considering the medical ingredients cheap. 150mg of caffeine and 150mg B1 has a unit cost of $0.25 and Ginseng is about $0.50. Crush up the caffeine tablet and mix it all up with water. Use fruit for your carbs but be careful how much you add. Follow the meal plan except on competition days or if your nutritionist said its okay to increase your carb intake.
