Tracking macros doesn’t have to feel like it’s taking over your life. But I’ll admit… when I first started, I thought every gram had to be perfect, and I was scared to eat anything untracked.

The truth? Tracking is a tool, not a rule. And when used correctly, it helps you build confidence in your food choices—without obsession.

Swipe through to learn how to track macros in a way that’s sustainable, flexible, and actually helps you long-term! ➡️

Macro tracking isn’t for everyone—but for some, it’s a game-changer. Here’s how to know if it’s worth trying:

✅ You feel lost when it comes to nutrition and portion sizes.
✅ You’ve tried every diet, but nothing sticks.
✅ You don’t want to follow a meal plan or give up foods you love.
✅ You want to learn how to fuel your body for YOUR specific goals.

Tracking isn’t the only way to reach your goals, but it can be an incredibly empowering tool—when used correctly. The goal isn’t to track forever, but to build knowledge and confidence in your choices.

Having coached so many women on their fat loss journey, these are the most common meal mistakes I see. And the frustrating part? Most of them are actually making fat loss harder, not easier.

These mistakes leave people hungrier, more tired, and constantly battling cravings—the exact opposite of what you need for sustainable fat loss results.

👉 Swipe through to see if you’re making any of these mistakes!

And if you’re ready to build better meals, feel more satisfied, and make fat loss easier—this is exactly what I help my clients do!

SWIPE 👉🏻 to learn how I’ve found a way to embrace balance. Fitness is a part of my life, but it doesn’t define me. I can enjoy movement, nourish my body, and still enjoy a Starbucks latte on a winter walk.

If you’re working toward fat loss, balance might look different—but it’s still possible without going to extremes.

DM me or comment below if you’re ready to find your version of balance 💫

I used to get so caught up in the “New Year, new me” mindset—setting goals, purging holiday foods, shaming myself for being “off track.” But I’ve realized those all-or-nothing approaches rarely last.

Resolutions fade, and change is HARD

I’m not saying you shouldn’t have goals, and the start of a new year can feel like a fresh start. But the METHODS we use and the PRESSURE we put on ourselves to change overnight often set us up for failure.

You don’t NEED a cleanse or a reset (unless you understand doing so is not a long-term solution). And you don’t need to feel guilty if your January 1st changes don’t last untill February.

Change takes time because habits take time. You didn’t where you are now overnight, so let go of the expectation that you can change overnight.

Instead of choosing 10 things to change tomorrow, start with one. Track it (every important!!!), stick with it for a week, and when you’re ready, add another.

And if you’re feeling stuck or don’t know where to start—I’m here. I offer coaching options tailored to your unique needs and budget.

Send me a DM, and let’s create a plan to get you closer to your 2025 goals 💫

Feeling stuck no matter how hard you diet or how much cardio you add? This might be due to 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

Metabolic adaptation occurs when prolonged calorie restriction causes your body to conserve energy.

This isn’t a “broken metabolism,” but rather your body doing exactly what it’s designed to do: protect you from energy shortages.

𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨:
🔸 Your metabolism slows to match the lower energy intake.
🔸 Non-exercise activity (like fidgeting and walking) decreases without you noticing.
🔸 Hormones like leptin (hunger and fat loss regulation) and thyroid (metabolism regulation) decline, making fat loss harder.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩? You need to eat less and less to see results—a cycle that isn’t sustainable or healthy.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣? Take a break from dieting. Giving your body time to recover with adequate calories and reduced stress can help restore your metabolism and set the stage for future fat loss success.

Fat loss isn’t about eating less forever—it’s about when and how to diet effectively.

𝙄𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝘿𝙈 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡. Let’s create a plan that supports your body and your goals!

I remember being 12 years old, literally praying to God to “make me skinny.” I wanted to look like the women I idolized on America’s Next Top Model and I longed to feel like I belonged amongst my size 0 peers.

For years, I desperately chased “skinny” at any cost, even though most of my attempts failed.

Then I found weightlifting.

My focus shifted from wanting to be skinny to wanting to be strong, and through weight lifting, my body changed for the better. But even as I lifted heavy and was feeling stronger, I couldn’t shake that 12-year-old’s desire for a smaller body.

So, I simply swapped one word for another, changing my goal from “skinny” to “lean” and worked tirelessly to achieve it.

But that came with sacrifices…

I skipped dinners with friends, terrified of eating foods I couldn’t track. I gave up slow Sunday mornings with my partner because I had to go to the gym. It came at the cost of my health—I developed osteopenia in my hips and lost my menstrual cycle.

I was burnt out, inflamed, constantly sore, and anything but happy or healthy.

Today, I don’t want to chase skinny. I want to chase healthy.

Yes, I still want to feel confident in my clothes. And of course, sometimes I look back at photos of my leaner self and feel tempted to go back. But it will never come at the expense of my health.

So, am I my leanest? No. But I choose health, strength, and balance because being fit and healthy is the real goal.
