Self contained, no smoking, 2 bedroom holiday rental, located on a quiet lake, close to Bancroft off highway 28. Pets are welcome upon agreement with the host.

Into The Woods: Birch View is located approximately 4 Km from the heart of Bancroft, on a quiet road, 2.5 km. Our 31 acre woodland lot has a land locked lake with environmentally protected wetland - Great for enjoying nature! We are about 70km from the East Gate of Algonquin Park (about 1 hours drive)

Located on Derry Lake, approximately 5 minute drive from Bancroft, this self contained 600 sq. ft., no smoking, 2 bedroom apartment known as Birch View is adjacent to our home, just 75 feet away from the private lakefront on a quiet lake. Carefully designed and furnished with a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, living room with wood fireplace and woodland views, this apartment comfortably accommodates couples looking for a mini-get away or families seeking a quiet nature vacation. The main bedroom, features a queen size bed, the second bedroom features 2 twin beds and 1 set of bunkbeds, adjacent to a 3 piece shower room. The apartment looks out onto the environmentally protected woodland area with many interesting features: wetlands, beaver lodges and dam, lots of wildlife and more. This is a space for children to run and explore or adults to just sit, chill or even hug a tree! With a private deck and gas BBQ, you can sit in the screened in gazebo and enjoy being an evening together in nature without the bugs! Guests can relax by the lake and enjoy the paddle boat and kayaks. Owners are responsible for ensuring poop is scooped and animals are quiet, especially at night.
