Sustainability at Melissa's Road Race - 95.3% Diversion!

Success! We are excited to announce that 95.3% of the waste generated at the event was diverted from landfill! And, the amount of garbage waste generated has been reduced by 29% over the last 3 years.

Thank you for helping us sort your waste at the SustainDriven sorting stations and also reduce the overall amount of waste at the event. We appreciate that many of you also traveled together to Banff, used the Melissa's shuttle and local Roam transit (or your own 2 feet and bikes), utilized the Virtual Event Bag, used reusable cups at the finish, and brought your own refillable water bottles/systems.
