Community Living York South is a not-for-profit organization that provides support services to children, youth, adults and seniors who have an intellectual disability who live in Southern York Region and their families. We support people in directing their own lives and in promoting partnerships, opportunities, well-being, freedom and contributions in their community.

Girls on the Go, a Parent Operated Program supported by CLYS, had a fantastic day at the Disability Holiday Market, organized by York South Family Network, on November 15!

Their booth was a big hit — they sold out of holiday mug sets, baking baskets, and cards, packaged and designed by themselves!

Families shared that the event was a great learning experience and showed the girls’ growing confidence in interacting with customers and practicing business skills.
We’re so proud of their hard work and creativity.

It was amazing to see so many smiles, creative costumes, and everyone coming together to enjoy fun, music, and games while celebrating community spirit. 🕸️✨
