If you've been waiting to get back into the gym and looking for a program that will help you get stronger and improve your fitness, in a supportive group, this program is for you.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm from June 21st to September 8th (12 weeks)
Location: park location south east Barrie
Workouts will include a combination of strength, mobility, conditioning amd core.
Investment is $120 + hst/ month for the 12 weeks.

WHY DID I BECOME A STRESS-REDUCED FAT LOSS™ COACH?
I have been training clients now for almost 20 years. This might age me, but I'm turning the big 4-0 this year and plan to be in the best shape physically and mentally.
Through my 20 years of training & coaching I've spent time in all sorts of modalities.
Personal training,yoga, nutrition, self massage, marathons, SUP, and performance training. I teach from experience and knowledge.
In my 20s I became addicted to fitness & body transformations to show up on stage. Swipe right➡️
It lead me down a path of addictive and sabotaging behaviors. It took a long time to heal from diet culture and lead me on a trajectory of changing the game of getting lean and strong. But there were underlying conditions that started to creep up along the way.
I developed, ongoing gas, bloating and constipation while eating healthy foods.
I had skin sensitivities and food intolerance that would not go away.
I was STUCK.
I finally sought out medical attention to see if there were hidden underlying factors.
The experts told me that regardless if I get a diagnosis or not that I should eat according to their food lists. Many of the foods that I had already avoided for decades. Lots of processed food and some medications to get me through the day. Ummm no thanks. I couldn't believe this I what they were prescribing to their overflowing waiting rooms.
No alternatives. No lifestyle changes. No alternative therapies. Nothing to do to heal my body. Only bandaid solutions.
I knew in my gut, literally, there had to be another way. I thanked them & went
I was determined to heal my body inside & out. My body leaned out
I took the became my first case study.
I realize there are so many others out there doing their best in trying to reduce fat and be healthier but get stuck on their journey.

It's Official!!➡ I am now a Stress-Reduced Fat Loss ™ Practitioner!
What is Stress-Reduced Fat loss you say?
Well, our bodies add fat as a response to chronic exposure to stress. The nature of stress affects certain hormones, which then determines where the fat gets stored.
Essentially, the body is protecting itself from stress on the system by adding fat cells.
This is no longer a calories in vs. calories out approach to fat loss. But a comprehensive system that takes into account your genetics, metabolism, digestion, current nutrition, goals, mood, lifestyle in order to reduce fat.
For example, when you store more fat in your belly we look at cortisol and ways on managing your cortisol through nutrition, lifestyle shifts and supplements.

💢5 tips to get more movement into your life.💢
➡️Make it a priority - this may mean choosing to wake up early, skipping Netflix at night or using a lunch break to get moving
➡️Plan it into your schedule - at the beginning of the week drop it into your schedule. Put it on the family calendar so everyone knows it's your time
➡️Book a time with your trainer - accountability is key. Hiring a coach or working with a trainer gives you the extra
➡️Take movement breaks - go for a walk, do your stairs, do some mobility exercises
➡️Workout with your kids - inspiring lifelong habits for you and the family.

I used to think that eating a healthy balanced diet was the key to fat loss & better health.
While this is partially true. There's is a catch💫
I have been caught in the healthy balanced diet culture. It served me well for the majority of my adult life.
But, after I had kids, everything changed. Hormones. Sleep. Digestion. Energy.
Eventually I stopped getting the results I wanted. As a trainer and lifestyle coach, I knew there had to be a holistic approach that allowed the body to get the fat loss goals you want + achieve improved levels of overall health.
I refused to go back to yoyo dieting mentality that had me under nourished & fluctuation in weight and ongoing symptoms. I refused to tell my clients it's a matter of reducing calories for fat loss.
I decided to learn more about nutrition, digestion + gut healing, how hormones affect fat loss & other systems.
For the last 3 months I immersed myself in the program to become a Stress Reduced Fat Loss Practitioner
What I learned will forever change how I see nutrition, how the body works + heals & how I can help my clients.
I've healed some parts of me that had been suffering for years including abdominal pain, constipation, bloating & eczema. Some of which doctors only solution was meds.
You see many of us have underlying symptoms that prevent us from achieving the results we want, especially when it comes to fat loss & health goals.
You can eat all the healthy foods you want but if you:
- aren't having healthy poops regularly
- are bloated/tired after meals
- arent sleeping well
- have high levels of stress
- have low stomach acid and experience acid reflux

As a trainer I never believed it was possible to "spot reduce fat!" Until I became a Stress Reduced Fatloss Practitioner.

My client came to me feeling stuck on her fitness journey. She had been living a "healthy" and "active" lifestyle for years but she just couldn't see to get the results she wanted. She was carrying excess fat around her love handles and her back and stomach. She was often bloated and felt full after meals. She complained often of joint paint after her workouts and didn't always have a full night sleep.
She was exhausted guessing on what to do next.
When we did her 5 step assessment we noticed a few things that needed to change before she could.
We did a enzyme test and determined her stomach enzymes were low, and within days she was no longer bloated and was finally able to have consistent healthy poops and no abominal pain or fullness after eating.
Here is what we did:
Many of the foods she was eating were causing bloating and lower bowel pain. We removed the furious 5 foods that are known to cause inflammation and digestive upset.
We cycled her carbs high some days and lower other days ( these days fats were higher) to teach her body how to handle carbs again. She had been on a low carb diet for some time. Stored fat around her waist and her back could finally start to drop when she was timing her carbs at the right time for her body
We did a 7 day colon cleanse to get the bowels moving and cleared out.
I'm so proud of her progress and we are only 4 weeks in. Her digestion has improved, she no longer feels bloated, has significantly reduced the amount of fat around her waist. Her digestive pain is gone, she's sleeping better and has no joint pain. And we are just getting started.
