The BPFFA was fortunate enough to be able to send TWO teams down to the Southern Ontario Fire Fighter Hockey League Tournament this week! One of our teams was able to bring home the win in the "B" Divisin! Way to go!

Here we go!!! Friday March 20th is game night for the Barrie Crosstown Classic between the Barrie Firefighters and the Barrie Police!

Get ready Barrie! On Friday March 20, 2026 the Barrie Police and Barrie Firefighters will face off in an action-packed charity hockey game at the Sadlon Arena.

All proceeds will be going to Hospice Simcoe, an organization dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care and grief and bereavement support for individuals and families in our community.

Hockey fans and community members alike are invited to witness this exciting showdown between local heroes while supporting a meaningful cause. This event is about more than just hockey; it’s about bringing the community together to support an incredible cause.

We encourage everyone to come out, cheer on your local fire and police teams, and help us make a difference for Hospice Simcoe.
