Belleville & Quinte West Community Health Centre

Belleville & Quinte West Community Health Centre is a non-profit providing primary care, mental health services, and community programs.

We’re dedicated to building healthy, inclusive communities where everyone feels they belong. The Centre operates in two locations: one in Belleville and the other in Quinte West/Trenton. Services are available to everyone. Young families, children and single mothers, youth, seniors, people living in poverty and those who sometimes have difficulty getting health care are especially welcome. Our programs and services include primary health care, health and wellness promotion, and disease and illness prevention. Keeping people well, and keeping communities healthy, is what Ontario’s Community Health Centres are all about. And our focus is on equity – helping people and populations who face barriers to health and health services to get those services and achieve good health. The Centre works in partnership with other healthcare and community organizations in the area to help people in need. We’re focused on the community. As community needs change, the services offered by the Centre will change.

🕯️ Transgender Day of Remembrance 🕯️

Today, we pause to honour the lives of transgender and gender-diverse people who have been lost to violence and hatred.

First observed in 1999 by advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith in memory of Rita Hester, Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) calls on us to remember those whose lives have been lost, to reflect on the ongoing impact of anti-trans violence, and to recommit ourselves to creating safer, more affirming communities.

At the Belleville & Quinte West Community Health Centre, we stand with our trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse community members—not only in remembrance, but in action. Every person deserves to live authentically, safely, and without fear.

We see you.
We remember you.
We will continue to fight for justice, equity, and belonging.

🎶 Beat the Blues: Cardio Drumming! 🥁
Join us in December for this free and accessible program where we use yoga balls and drumsticks to jam along to upbeat music — it’s a great way to reduce stress, connect with others, and get your heart pumping. No experience (or rhythm) needed! All movements can be modified to suit your comfort level!

This is not a walk-in clinic.
